Dual Holes Spark Plug Tester

Unique Features

This spark plug tester has two spark plug sockets, allowing you to test two spark plugs simultaneously. By comparing the spark intensity of the two, you can quickly determine their performance and ignition intensity. This feature helps you identify which spark plug is broken and needs replacement, saving you time and ensuring your vehicle operates efficiently.

Wide Testing Frequency

Featuring a wide testing frequency range of 0-6000 rpm, this engine ignition coil tester simulates real engine conditions. At higher frequencies, the spark intensity becomes stronger, making it easier to observe the spark in dark environments. While the tester is effective in low-light settings, we do not recommend using it in bright environments.

Widely Compatible with Vehicles and Easy to Use

This automotive ignition tester is compatible with 12V gasoline vehicles, including crankshaft engines and motorcycles. Testing is straightforward: simply insert spark plugs into the tester sockets and adjust the frequency knob to observe each spark plug’s performance at different frequencies. You can perform these tests without professional maintenance skills, making it easy to use at home.

Widely Compatible with Spark Plugs

The tester can accommodate spark plugs with a diameter not exceeding 13mm. Even if the spark plug is slightly smaller than 13mm, there will be a small gap, but it will not affect the testing. For added stability, use two limit washers.

Testing Different Size Spark Plugs

  • For Long Spark Plugs: Place shims in the sockets before inserting the long spark plug. Ensure the negative power supply is connected at the socket.
  • For Short Spark Plugs (e.g., Lawn Mowers, Chainsaws, Small Motors): While the base clamp may not fit, simply ensure the spark plug touches the metal clamp for positive power supply and the socket for the negative power supply. A slight tilt does not affect the test.
  • Power Supply: The base clamp supplies the positive power, while the socket supplies the negative power.

Conclusion

This spark plug tester is a powerful tool for ensuring your engine runs smoothly. Its dual socket feature, wide frequency range, and compatibility with various spark plugs make it a must-have for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts.
